Whitwell Annual Parish Meeting 2026

The Annual Parish Meeting has been arranged for Wednesday 22 April 2026 at 7.00 pm in the Meeting Room at Whitwell Community Centre.

This is not a Parish Council Meeting but a meeting of electors# at which the Parish Council Chairman presides and provides a report.  Reports are also requested from the District and County Councillors and village groups.

There will be a representative from Whitwell Quarry to give an update on the Quarry workings and take questions.

The Parish Council has proposed a review of the Whitwell Parish Boundary and will launch a petition at the meeting.  The current and proposed new boundary will be displayed, together with an explanation of the reasons for requesting a review.

Please attend if you are able, this is an annual opportunity to give the Parish Council, and other local organisations a chance to let residents know what they have been doing over the last year, but more importantly it is an opportunity for electors to have a say on anything they consider valuable about the Parish.
